Minimal Post-operative Swelling
HATCH REAMER® SET is available at our online store.
Phase 1: Pilot Hole Drilling
A 2.0 mm drill with depth guide is included for pilot hole drilling. The 3.0 mm reamer can also be used for pilot hole drilling—its tip is designed to provide just enough cutting force for drilling, but poses a lower risk of damaging the sinus membrane than a standard drill.
Phase 2: Hatch Lifting
Hatch Reamers (3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 mm diameters) are designed to perform "hatched" lifting of the cortical bone of the sinus floor with minimal chance of damaging sinus membrane.
Phase 3: Grafting
Condensers (3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 mm diameters) are designed to deliver and condense the bone grafting material. Reamers are then used to enlarge the hole and further condense the graft material.
Phase 4: Final Implant Site Preparation
A reamer of appropriate diameter can be used to perform the final boring before the implant placement. The set also includes a Depth Gauge for depth/volume measurement of the grafted and native bone.
